PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

BLA Step 1 Softening Lotion is a professional cysteamine-based formula designed to soften and relax natural lashes and brow hairs, allowing them to be gently redirected into the desired shape.

During the softening process, Step 1 temporarily relaxes the internal bonds that help maintain the hair’s natural direction and structure. Once the hair becomes sufficiently flexible, the lash or brow artist can carefully reposition it to create a lifted, curled, or laminated result.

Formulated with Camellia Japonica Flower Extract, hydrolyzed keratin, hydrolyzed collagen, hydrolyzed wheat protein, glycerin, and other conditioning ingredients, the creamy formula provides controlled, even application while helping the hair maintain a soft and conditioned appearance throughout the service.

Its workable consistency is especially suitable for Korean-style lash lift techniques, including methods in which the lashes are softened before being carefully arranged onto the lifting shield. This allows the artist greater control over the direction, separation, and final appearance of the lashes.

After the natural hairs have reached the appropriate level of softness and flexibility, Step 1 must be completely removed. Follow with Step 2 Neutralizing Lotion to reform the softened bonds and set the lashes or brow hairs into their new position.

Recommended processing time: 8–12 minutes. Processing time must be adjusted according to the thickness, porosity, texture, condition, and resistance of the natural hair. Monitor the hair throughout the entire softening process.
