PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

BLA Step 2 Setting Lotion is a professional oxidizing formula designed to complete the lash-lifting or brow-lamination process after Step 1 Softening Lotion.

After Step 1 softens the natural hairs and allows them to be repositioned, Step 2 helps reform the internal bonds and set the lashes or brow hairs into their newly designed shape. This essential step helps secure the desired lift, curl, direction, and overall finish.

The creamy, workable consistency allows for controlled and even application across the treated area. It helps keep the lashes properly positioned on the lifting shield or the brow hairs arranged in their desired direction while the new shape is being set.

Formulated with Camellia Japonica Flower Extract and glycerin, the formula helps leave the natural hairs with a soft, smooth, and conditioned appearance following the lifting or lamination process.

Step 2 is suitable for Korean-style lash lift techniques, including methods where the lashes are softened, precisely redirected, separated, and arranged before being set into their final lifted position. It may also be used during professional brow-lamination services after Step 1.

HOW STEP 2 WORKS:

Step 1 temporarily softens and relaxes the internal bonds that help determine the natural shape and direction of the hair. Once the lashes or brow hairs have been repositioned, Step 2 begins the setting process.

The oxidizing formula helps reform the softened bonds while the hairs remain arranged in their desired position. This locks in the new structure and creates a lasting lifted, curled, or laminated appearance.

Proper placement during Step 2 is essential because the position of the hairs during this stage influences the final result. The lashes should remain evenly separated and correctly arranged on the shield, while brow hairs should remain directed in the intended shape throughout the processing period.

Once processing is complete, Step 2 must be removed thoroughly before continuing with any additional steps in the professional lash-lift or brow-lamination service.

PROCESSING GUIDANCE:

Recommended processing time: 8–12 minutes.

Processing time must be adjusted according to the condition, thickness, porosity, texture, and resistance of the natural lashes or brow hairs. Follow the manufacturer’s directions and monitor the hair throughout the entire setting process.
